MONTH MAMMOGRAPHY SPECIAL

Oct. 1-31
Diagnostic Breast Care Center at Northern Nevada Medical Center 2345 E. Prater Way, Suite 115, Sparks (Vista Medical Terrace, up the hill from the hospital)

American women have a one in eight lifetime chance of developing breast cancer. Nevada women are statistically less likely than other American women to take the healthcare steps needed to detect early breast cancer: monthly breast self-exam, annual mammography for women 40 and older and annual clinical breast exam. Help beat the statistics with regular screenings! Treatment is most effective if the disease is diagnosed early enough. Northern Nevada is offering screening mammograms at its Diagnostic Breast Care Center in October for the special rate of $70 in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Call 356-5800 for more information or an appointment. (Special rate is for self-paid procedures. Screening mammograms are for those without implants or previously detected disease. Diagnostic mammograms also available; call for more information.)
