| ![]() ![]() Letter from the CEO
As the new CEO of Northern Nevada Medical Center, I would like to introduce myself. My family and I are still rather new to the community and continue to be impressed by the array of activities and sights offered by this unique and wonderful place to live. I have found that we, like you, treasure the community's many assets and well-defined identity.
Our region is becoming recognized as one of the most progressive and rapidly growing communities in the west. We're fortunate to be part of a community that is home to Nevada's first university, one that has become nationally recognized in academics and athletics: the University of Nevada, Reno. Northern Nevada also headquarters dozens of nationally recognized brands including Amazon.com, IGT, Intuit and Microsoft, among many others.
Northern Nevada Medical Center is proud to call Sparks its home. The city of Sparks continues to set a high standard for quality of life. It has become well known for the beautiful Sparks Marina, the convenient and diverse shopping of the Sparks Galleria and exciting events such as the Nugget's Best in the West Rib Cook-off and the Hometown Farmers' Market at historic Victorian Square.
Along with the dramatic population growth in Sparks, Spanish Springs and communities to the east including Fernley, we, too, are undergoing a revitalization on our campus. As a quality-driven organization, we are constantly challenging ourself to reach new heights in patient care. We are investing in major renovations throughout the hospital that will better meet your healthcare needs, whether for an emergency, an outpatient diagnostic procedure, an inpatient surgery or if it's just time to check your cholesterol again.
We want to be your first choice in healthcare and are doing what it takes to achieve that goal, improving in ways large and small. I invite you to visit Northern Nevada Medical Center. When you do, please stop by to say hello. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
|
